International Project Management Day

PMI Macedonia Chapter encourages you to celebrate International Project Management Day within your organization.

Why you should do this

As a project manager working with project teams, take this day and recognize the whole team for their contributions: for their time, energy, creativity, innovation, and countless hours to deliver products, services, facilities, and to provide emergency and disaster recovery services in every city and around the world.

How to celebrate it

• Organize a special meeting or event within your company to show your appreciation, and give people not used to being project managers a chance to see what it is all about and how complex even the smallest project can be to organize.
• A random act of project management kindness. Buy a cup of coffee for a project manager or a project teammate. If your colleague is located remotely, why not show your appreciation by email. Email them and let them know you appreciate them.
• Even if this isn’t possible or practical, it would be a show of proper respect. Take a moment to show the people who manage your projects how much you appreciate them on International Project Management Day.
• Volunteer. Become a PMI volunteer. Volunteer while building a professional network, share your skills and experiences, and develop as a leader. Sign up to be a volunteer with your local PMI chapter at pmi.org.
