How to apply
The whole process happens at pmi.org. This page only explains what to expect and where people usually trip up.
Create a pmi.org account
Free, and it takes a few minutes. If you already have an account, sign in.
Choose PMI membership
An annual fee, plus a one-off application fee the first time. There is a separate, cheaper student rate.
Choose the chapter
When you join, choose PMI North Macedonia Chapter as your chapter. Since 1 February 2026 the chapter is included in the membership and not paid for separately - but it is still the step people skip, and without it you are a PMI member, not part of the local community.
Pay, and that is it
Payment is handled by PMI. The confirmation arrives by email and you have access to the standards and the discounts immediately.
Renewing
Membership renews once a year at pmi.org. When you renew, check that the chapter is still selected in your profile.
